Which days you get off
We follow the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa holiday list, not the federal one. The list is on the holidays page. If a date is not on that list, it is not a company holiday.
Some dates can change
Both Eids, 1 Muharram, Ashura and Eid Milad-un-Nabi depend on the moon sighting. We only know the real date one to three days before.
While a date says provisional, do not book travel and do not promise a client that day.
All other holidays are fixed one year ahead. They do not change.
Optional holidays
Muslim staff get one optional holiday a year. Non-Muslim staff get three. Use them for festivals that are not on the main list.
Ask the operations lead one week before. It does not come out of your annual leave.
Telling clients
If the office is closed for two days or more, tell your client two weeks before. Tell them again when the dates are confirmed.
Tell them who they can contact in an emergency. If nobody is available, say so clearly.
Two common questions
A holiday on a weekend. You do not get another day instead.
Two holidays together. You get the days in the block. You do not add them together.
